This is not your regular dance lesson. The goal is to learn a choreography, perform it, and push ourselves beyond our comfort zones. It will be sweaty. In every lesson, we will work on our core strength (Tabata) and mobility (body waves, etc.), which are key requirements for challanging dance moves and choreographies. While learning the choreography, we will also pick up some shines and moves for social dancing as well. I am really looking forward to dance with you! If we are doing well, we might even able to perform our choreography at some events around Rostock.
Requirements:
Please know your basics in Salsa and Bachata and how to stay in the music. Be ready to sweat and practice at home, so we can move efficiently through the choreography.
Partners:
We will learn solo as well as couple routines. A partner is not required. Please be ready to dance as follow or lead.
Training frequency:
We will start with one lesson a week. If people are interested, we can also try to to schedule self-guided training sessions, e.g., during the weekend. Also, please be aware that I might have to travel a couple of times during the semester. I can't promise, but I will try my best to find someone to stand in for me or schedule alternative lessons.
